I am trying my hand at Custom Made Templates for SOHO Launch. It's basically fixed width (750 width or 780 width). The more I work with SOHO Launch the more I grow to LOVE it! It's actually a pretty amazing product and I have been promoting it heavily! I take my hat of to everyone that is involved in the development.

I'd like to hear what you think... and be easy on the neg critique please... ;)

Nice job Jaun, those look great.
You did a great job with the colors and the links work really well with the template.

Hi mook25,
About your question on your own template, here are a couple changes to get it to work.
Change the template file nema from eBook.html to index.html.
Add all the images for your template into your template folder.
Make sure all of the image links are within the folder without any extra paths.
Example:
<img src="../business1.jpg" width="218" height="176">
Should change to:
<img src="business1.jpg" width="218" height="176">

Hi there!
Thanks to everyone for all the great comments, it's really inspiring and I appreciate it greatly!

I tried another one, NATHealth (http://nathealth.za.net), and I think this is my personal best! *said in all humbleness* and it took me only two weeks of working in the evening to setup this one.

Again, and again, I can't say it enough... I just love the power of SOHO Launch! It's so amazing and easy to use! My next attempt is going to be an online shop type of thing...

Keep well everyone and don't stop prospering! ;)

Hi Mook25,
As JC Nelson said, there are a couple of things that needed to change. :)

I did it for you quickly, download the updated version with the changes here (http://www.onlineworknet.com/temp/CORPORATE-MOOK_First-Blue.zip)

I did the following:
1) Rename ebook.html to index.html
2) Removed all your styles from the html file and placed it in your custom.css file
3) Created the link in the index.html file to load the custom.css file
4) Copied the missing images from the original template to your new template dir
5) Fixed all the image linking.
6) Created a screenshot.jpg for you

Oh, and I changed the name to CORPORATE-MOOK_First-Blue
All you need to do is download, unzip then upload the folder as is to: /public_html/sohoadmin/program/modules/site_templates/pages

Go to Template manager and select it. :)

That's it I think...
Hope it helps!

Jaun

Oh! I'm guessing i haven't quite got the hang of this template making thing yet. Thanks for your work on this one but am have now made another template which i'm far happier with.
I'll have a look at the one you've done when i get home and try to transfer some of the details over to the new one. Probably doesn't help that i've only just started using dreamweaver and fireworks. I know this is going to sound a bit cheeky but if i've got any problems can i give you a shout to see if you can help? :rolleyes:
