We decided that we needed to have a good looking Flash presentation of SohoLaunch for our new site. One that could give a customer a good overview of the platform. It occured to us (since its our business - as the name implies) that others may be looking for something similiar to really kick off their Soholaunch sales. This is not a training video like Vito's. We think we can spare a couple companies beside us using it (but only a couple and not for free) and it would come with the underlying template.
However besides sohotemplates I am not sure I have seen any commercial offerings on the forums and I want to be respectful of the rules. Is it permissible for us to share resources in regard to Soholaunch or is that only for sohotemplates.com? If its permissible then I'll post it and also for any critques where it could be improved (without getting too long which it might be already). Thanks

I think that The Soholaunch Discussion forum would be the perfect place for this.

Okay then. Please feel free to tell us if theres any problems with timing etc. If anyone is interested just drops us an email at sales@demostorm.com and we can make arrangements to customize it to your company. We are open to including the template since it underlies the presentation. If theres a particular kind of presentation you had in mind then you can let us know as well. Remember Vito already has done a bunch of training videos as well and they are available at demodemo. We may add to that in a few places with our own but its a pretty solid start
Enough rambling :) . Heres the Presentation (without sound which can be added)-

Work is copyrighted so please don't use without permission. Lawyers make enough money as it is. also let us know if you consider the file siize too large or playing time too long. Also its not optimized for 800X600. If you feel thats an issue let us know and we can adjust. Thanks

Mission accomplished. That was excellent.

You make a great point here about the distinction between your demos and Vito's. Both are high quality demos of the same product, but they each offer a unique value: yours for promotion, Vito's for instruction. A full set of each could compliment eachother quite nicely.... :)

Well. we've thought of doing some work on how the page editor tends to lay out items and a few other tidbits but what else would you like to see in such a set? I can see the need for it. Participating in some of the threads over at Netenberg I am getting the impression that many Fantastico users aren't getting a sense of the power of your system. If they aren't getting it their endusers probably won't either. Shame some of the comments I'm reading.

demostorm, that demo is absolutely awesome -- you did a lovely job!!!!
And I feel you are right, for instance I know I do not understand the power of the Soholaunch system. That is why I am going to try to use my 3-month trial to try to build some sample sites and get to know it. Your demo was helpful to me. :)
Please give people a chance. We all know ignorance makes things look like something other than they are.

Great job Demostorm, too bad we need this in another language, but contact me and maybe we can cut a deal.

Actually for others who needs languages its not much of a problem (unless there are special characters). If you do the translation per caption then we can transpose them into the presentation. Unfortunately English is the only language we are good with now. Thanks

Well as long as it can be copied and pasted then its not a problem. I'll email you shortly. Unfortunately I have to remove the files from the link at this time. We are going to make a few changes and probably create a few more presentations. Thanks

Well I don't know how full this set is because we figured the best approach was to hit the highlights for such a presentation set. Anyway here it is
http://www.demostorm.com/intro.html
Needs some touching up in spots no doubt but we'll have that worked out in 24-48 hours. Please point out anything we missed by way of features or any error you might catch.
For other hosts - We will change all references to our sister company (Storepack.com) to refer to your business but there isn't any plans right now to have it white labeled. Presently the package has 6 parts but will shortly have 7 as we feel the need to present a flash tutorial that shows the versatility of the page editor beyond the main demo we already have of how the editor works. The add on modules have a smaller presentation size to accomodate inclusion on existing web pages but the main presentation needed to be sufficiently large to accurately present Soholaunch.
We've been guided by demodemo's pricing for there training demos and have decided that we will for the time being at least be making the package available for less than half of the their training package (including name customization). These are not meant to replace the training videos. They are for prospective customers rather than training existing ones and as such are a sales tools and do not go into training details although there is some overlap to show the customer how easy the software is to work with. Please email us sales@demostorm.com for any questions you might have and for pricing details.
