Soholaunch Module API - Reward Programmer Commission Idea

This idea is probably way out there but it doesn't hurt to throw something out there and let it get kicked around.

I've had several customers who like sohopro but have asked if a new feature or functionality could be added to it. Many of them have good ideas that I think would be usefull to the sohopro community.

What do you think about having some type of reward program for those programmers wanting to build a new module that IF accepted by soho, can earn that programmer some residual income. These modules won't be standard but extra modules that the user will pay for (like the shopping cart module) at a reasonable price. A portion of the sale would go to the originating programmer and a portion will go to soho. I think this benefits soho the app, the community, and soho's indirect clients.

This is an idea We would definatly be interested in. I love seeing things like this. This would expand the abilities of Pro as well as encourage growth in our community, as well as benifit developers that use Pro. I would be more than happy to help you bring this idea into action. Let me know.

This sounds great! I will gather feedback from my customers and see what apps / modules they would like to use on their sites. I'll also have to study the code to see how it is soho implements modules so that I can stay within your coding convention and rules. Before attempting anything, I will respond back to this thread with an idea or ideas of what they would like.
