Base version???? Trial???

So, pre sales apparently doen't want to answer any questions by email. so I am posting here. (bad for business.)

I have been told that the base version comes with the downloader. Does this mean that this is some kind of trial? When I install on a developement box the /sohoadmin/index.php is 0 bytes.

Someone please explain -- Pre Sales doesn't respond to my emails. So if I can't get an answer here, I'll go to another product. I need to try before I buy!

oh -- and apperently you have to buy first to use the demos. It will not accept the user and password I set up.

To use the free installer you need to have a qualified domain or subdomain already resolving to your hosing space. After uploading the installer file to your hosting space and running it from your browser the product download and installation are automated. There are certain servers that may not allow this installation to be performed, but most do.

The Base Version of Soholaunch ProEdition includes our website builder and content manager - fully functional and no charge - but the advanced features (shopping cart, db manager, secure users, backup/restore, event calendar, newsletters, blog manager) are optional. To use those features an upgrade license must be purchased - currently $99 USD.

There is no requirement to purchase before using the demos from our website (www.soholaunch.com). After selecting a username and password, a login link is automatically emailed to you. Since this is an automated response some Spam blockers reject the email, so you may need to look in your blocked email folder for this link. Other local computer settings (popup blockers, Norton security settings that are very tight, etc.) may initially interfere with access.
