Hi

I need to know a few things....

I currently run several websites on two servers. One is mine and I am hosting it at home. the others are on my employers machine. I want to try this but I have a couple of questions.

1. I want to set this up on my employers server but if my employer doesn't want it can I transfer it to my server and/or my url in a few weeks.

2. If he does want to keep it and we start offering it as a server for our hosted sites, How hard is it to up grade to Server package.

3. Is this a program I would own/ would it be on my machine or how does this work?

4. I am real new to all this and have tried other things that I didn't like. I wanted to try something that needed .PHP extenions. have not been able to get .PHP , .perl, or .cgi extenions to work. Nor can I get FTP to work. Would I have help on configuring my server 2003 machine to work, and make it work for others if he decides to offer web hosting?

I really like the demo and have seen others like it but need these answers before I buy

Thank you
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your interest in Soholaunch. Below are my answers corresponding to the numbers associated with your questions . . .
1) The ProLifetime licenses are per domain and can be transferred from server to server. If you want us to cancel one domain and transfer it to another within a couple of weeks of purchase just submit a support ticket and we'll make that change manually for you since it will be in such a short period of time.

2) Upgrading from a single domain license to a ProServer license is very easy to do. Once the server is licensed, the features for all domains on that server come under the view of the ProServer licensee.

3) Yes. All Soholaunch program files are resident on the server where the domain is hosted. Use of the software is limited to the domain(s) (or server(s)) licensed.

4) Licensing of Soholaunch assumes your server is setup with the minimum requirements for the program operating properly. We do have Partners who would probably be able to assist you with server issues and/or data center partners who would love to have you as a dedicated server customer. Soholaunch support is limited to the Soholaunch program. Our tech team is familiar with and can help with many server setup and configuration issues, but Soholaunch does not actually setup servers for clients.

You are welcome to send any questions to me vial email as well. Thanks.
