I`ve not installed the demo yet, but trying your online demo I love the way soholaunch works, as a web designer it seems to work the way I need it to and I wouldnt be embaressed to have clients login and change stuff. I`ve tried so many cms systems mambo, joomla, drupal etc etc only to spend about 4 hrs trying to bend them to do what I want and loosing my rag in the process. esp mambo, it made me want to throw my machine out of the window in frustration.

However my question is, and its prob. been asked many times, is it possible to have graphical navigation instead of buttons/normal links? If not I assume I can add images and manually link them to the content.

Another question related to the same thing is it would be nice to have flat <ul>, <li> style menus that you can append images to the class/id, to basically have javascript(less) menus, if you put that in, or if it is possible now, i`ll wet myself with excitement!

Please comment, cus I`m loving this soholaunch and want to install it now!

ss,
Welcome to the boards =]. Pro Edition is a great solution for web developers, it allows your clients to easily manager their own site's without ruining the look and feel of the site that designers spend so much time on. And if your client is a bit mischievous, Pro Edition has an incredibly easy to use backup / restore feature.

You can absolutley do custom image navigation without losing the functionality of the auto-menu system. Pro Edition's auto-menu system is stored in a file called pgm-auto_menu.php and is found in both the site's docroot, and the sohoadmin/client_files/base_files/ folder. Modify this file to display your image/ menu-system the way you want it, then place the modified file in the same folder as your template's index.html ( templates are stored in the /sohoadmin/program/modules/site_templates/pages/ folder. The modified menu will only apply to the template that you place it with. This allows you to have different menu systems for each template that the site uses.

Thanks for the speedy reply, can I do the image menus with the demo download, I would like to test the install and function of the cms on my own website before I start to deploy to others.

I`m gonna test the install, and I might buy the psa add on for my plesk account so I can install on domains within my plesk hosting.

Once again cheers for the info.
