First I apologize for posting in the Pre Sales area, but I just purchased the program and you answered my questions very quickly so Im hoping to get a quick response and I wont post in the pre sales again.

As a shameless plug Soholaunch has been awesome! Easy to understand and so far has done everything I wanted.

Okay onto my question.

I have a website that allows (regular users) to post classified ads via a submit form that updates to the database. However, I only allow a (secured group) of users to access the searches of these submitted forms.

Is there a way to allow (regular users) to be able to update their submitted forms sitting in the database only. For example their address is included on the search results, I would like the (regular user) to be able to update their address but still not have access to search any other posted forms or update anything else.

I did search the forum but did not find anything.

Thanks again for your quick responses and again I will not post in the pre sales area anymore.

Thank you!

Thank you for the "shameless plug." We accept all compliments!

Yes, since you have licensed the full version of Soholaunch your db manager can "authenticate" all records entered into the database. Those users, when they login, can then edit their record, but no one elses' record. The way it is setup by default that individual user will be able to search on all records of that db. If you don't want them to be able to see the other records in the db some custom programming would be required.

Thank you for using Soholaunch.

where can I find the documentation on how to properly set up the (authentication)?

Basic documentation is in the online users manual . . . http://manual.soholaunch.com. You'll then select "Secure Users" and then "Batch Authenticating Users."
