Ok this is just a friendly post cus I only just hit this problem myself, please don't slate me if you know this already.
"Microsoft released an update to their Internet Explorer browser that is sure to effect all Flash based web sites. Basically a patent holder sued MS about the way they display OBJECTs and EMBEDs in webpages and in turn MS decided to create a browser change that requires user input to display ActiveX based media. This will make your Flash-based sites look a little empty without some code changes."
Basically you may have noticed that you now have to click to activate flash content. I use to use the flash satay method (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/flashsatay/) of embedding flash but have now switched over to using the javascript flashobject, it can be found over at http://blog.deconcept.com/flashobject/
I`ve just implemented this now on a few of my sites and it works great, so you dont have to click anymore to activate flash, and it validates fine.
