Greetings, all.

I just found out about Soholaunch on Hotscripts.com the other day, so I am completely new to it. It looks like a great product and very reasonably priced. I've been exchanging emails with sales and tech support to get a feel for what the Pro version can do.

I was disappointed when I saw the forums were down and especially when I found out the old database was corrupted. I was really hoping to be able to read lots of comments by those who have been actually using the software.

So, if you would be so kind, I would appreciate hearing from any experienced users of the Pro version. What do you like? What don't you like? Have you had many users take advantage of it? Do you think offering it has enabled you to sign up more people? Do new users find it easy to use? Any comments would be helpful to this Soho newbie.

Thanks,
Scott Henry

The forums just came back online a day ago so I am sure you will get more responses once everyone gets regesistered. :)

My experience is that new users who don't have any or allmost no feel for creating homepage have no problem with using soholaunch, the learn it within some minutes, don't forget that most of the users will only use a 10% of the system by just changing or adding content and images, which is the most important for them.
concerning sales, it's a great system to work with and has great features (and more feature in the future), easy to sell to anybody who would like to update their website with a few clicks, but still keep controll of whats happening.

let me know if you need to know anything else.

I agree, Pro is quite easy to use. I pretty much "ditto" what Ruben said below.

The only thing I wish is if there was a way to have Pro autoload with some of Control panels out there. I use Ensim and Cpanel, some. It would be nice in Ensim for an example to have Soholaunch as a added feature when seting up a new site, like Front Page Extensions is an example or SSL or anything else.

It would also be VERY cool to have Soholaunch accessible from the Control Panel in some way.

Maybe in the future. BUT, dont let that keep you from getting it, its well worth it. I Like.

We are using Ensim as well and that would be indeed a great feature. At this moment you could create a simple script you can run which copies a 'blank' soholaunch version to the customers site.
you need to create also a database for it, but if this is the first and only DB the user has you can use the default one.
Im not sure how difficult it would be to create an addon for Ensim.
