Does this software have the ability for a potential client to try it out before purchasing hosting, then they purchase hosting and the site they test build be published to their account?
I sent this in by e-mail but never recieved a response.
Thanks, Kevin

You would setup a demo by putting sohoadmin on a separate folder or subdirectory and use the tweaks mentioned in this forum by JCNelson.
But as far as I understand, there is no way that any of the pages, settings, etc that are built in the demo would be saved and installed in a subsequent new account.

One way to do this would be to prompt the user to create (and download) a backup via Backup Restore before logging out of the demo site. Then when he set's up his account he can just upload and restore the backup he made on the demo site.
If you wanted to go a little further with it, you could auto-create the backup file when a visitor clicks the "Signup Now" link in the footer (just stick the backup file somewhere on your server)...for your own use or theirs.
You could even have your script put these auto-backup files in a db table with other information about the demo user, then search that table when a user signs up for an account and, if a record is found matching, say, their email address, it displays a box on on the final invoice page (after they signup) that lets them know that they backup is available and provides a download link and instructions on how to upload it via backup/restore.
But those are just some ideas. Easiest solution is probably just a message somewhere on the page where they launch the demo site that says "before you exit the demo site, make a backup and download it when you're done so you can pick up where you left off after you sign up for an account"
