I need to make this very clear, you can't use flash files from demodemo.com or soholaunch.com without licensing them! You must contact demodemo.com to get a license. This is their business, and leaching these flash files is STEALING! Of course you can license a copy through their website. =).

So the demodemo files are officially endorsed by Soholaunch ???

Which wasn't the question however. previously I remember seeing in the old forums that the Flash files would be available ? New forum - No flash files.
I agree the demodemo flash presentation could be the way to go - but to those of who are unsure of Soholaunch applications to date and considering the possible support entailed this may be vaild, I intend to avoid expense until the apps are proven.

There is a considerable amount of circumspect answers which float in these forums. I don't need that - just plain old straight answers.
It is then up to the site admin to decide whether it represents a sensible proposition to their clients.
I must emphasise that most of the answers have been to date pure speculation: much simpler and in the long run far more profitable for the authors to state their policy and we can then decide one way or the other.
I'm just a simple type - so simple answers suffice :-)

In short, no you can not link demos.
Upon asking founder and president of demodemo.com about the licensing and linking he replied:

Hello Cameron:

I'm afraid they will not be able to link to the tutorials on your site. They will need to order their own logo branded set. As you can appreciate, if we allowed linking, we would not sell (any) product off our site.

Regards,
Vito Ceniti

If you need any further clarification you can reach him through the email provided on his site.

You are correct on that the demos are a great tool for new users. They visualy break down the opperation of our product and can be a quick an easy guide.

As far as the quality of these demo's go they are well done, and of course you can check them out at his website. I do believe he in the process of making New demos for 4.7, but I am not sure when these will be available.

I dont recall a single answer on this board in regard to the flash demos ever giving a definitive answer. On boards people discuss (and that will always continue to be so and is part of what makes boards useful) and everyone who contributed stated over and over and over that only Soholaunch could answer the question. therefore you were never given an answer but engaged in a discussion. No harm. No foul. We just approach matters differently. I am much more willing to look for possibillities that there is a misunderstanding than assume there is something being hid or someone is not being straightforward.

But in all fairness the idea that the flash demos were white branded was and is not raised by anyone on these boards but on the Soholaunch page that states that white Branded demos are coming (still says so). Based on what bouncer has written this IS misleading (or I don't understand what the words "white labeled" refer to) since demodemo does not sell white branded demos. Again with my approach I tend to believe this was just poor wording.

We could discuss that as well or even whether or not Soholaunch is a proven app (which in my eyes it clearly is) - that happens on boards sometimes. At any rate I think it would be best for SOholaunch to either define what they mean by white labeled or remove that line on their web page.

The meaning of white labled demos coming refers to the demos that demodemo is working on. The new demos will be white labled and not include the soholaunch logo in the demo.

Okay, I get where you are coming from and as suspected its just a different way of looking at it not a matter of not being straightforward. However, when Soholaunch says white labeled for the Pro package it means I can take out any reference to Soholaunch and replace it with my own name OR leave it blank. Thats where the confusion slips in. White labeled conveys the idea of no branding but I am pretty sure if Demodemo operates anyway like we do that they will not sell any demos with no branding at all. They will simply replace the branding. Not doing so is the surest way to get ripped off on the Internet.

You might also want to check with Demodemo as to whether you are allowed to change your branding at will (like if your company name changes). Normally flash demos are sold with a single company name branding.

So I can see where from Soholaunch's perspective the demos are whitel labeled but it conveys another idea as well and that is that the demos don't have to be branded at all (and hence could be shared) which would be within the realm of possibility if the work was under a custom job with you retaining all rights to it. Thats what I thought might have been the case and I know now you didn't wish to convey that idea. I think Custom branded Demos or something to that effect would convey the idea better but thats just my opinion.

I am not sure if the new demodemo demo's will be brandable or not. The only branding our license prohobits is branding in the product interface. I think you might be able to get away with some branding in demo's but I don't know if they offer this or not.
