After trying to install the City>Busy Clean template from the addons. It seems to install it but it shows as a blank, and then I get the notification. "THIS TEMPLATE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE IN FORMAT".

Is it perhapsto do with the version of SOHO I'm using i.e. 4.9 r14.???

Yes, it's highly likely that it has to do with that. Upgrade to v4.9 r28 via Webmaster > Software Updates (or just click the little update icon that should be in the footer next to the version number).

Thanks Mike - they managed to fix the server so I could upgrade to r28.
