Newsletter will not send

Hi,
I am unable to send out my newsletter the error message I get is:

Error Details...
Description: Failed to connect to server -- Connection refused
Failed command: fsockopen(localhost, 25, 111, Connection refused, 5)
Not connected!

Can anyone help??

Bryan, I would suggest you or some techs take a look at the logs files for the server to figure out why it does not send out email, i don't think this has something with soholaunch to do to be honest.

I checked and they want me to check the Username and Password in the script.
Does the newsletter use the same username and password that I use to login to sohoadmin? Is there a way form me to verify what username and password the newsletter module is using?

i think it has nothing with a username/password combination to do, this is really the first time i heared about this problem. can you check if your server is using sendmail to send out emails? i think something is missing server side or you don't have rights to send out emails from scripts on your account.

I am having this issue too, as the email area now requires a password and authentication even just checking the mail, so how do we work around this?
