License Question

I am looking to upgrade to the Pro version with my web hosting provider BlueHost.com. Looking through these forums I know that each license only covers 1 domain. However, I see conflicting information if you are buying through a webhosting provider in that you can use the Pro version on all your domains hosted with that webhosting provider. Is this correct?

Also, can you use SohoLaunch on subdomains of your main domain. ie. use it for www.mydomain.com as well as www.photos.mydomain.com ?

I think what you read refers to when you have a hosting account with a web host who is a ProServer Unlimited customer ours --- in those cases the web host often includes the full version free with all their hosting plans.

But in your case, you host doesn't offer this so you've got to purchase a single website license for your domain if you want the full version.

Yes, if you buy a Single Website License you can set it up in the partner area to be valid for both mydomain.com and subdomain.mydomain.com. Note also that this only goes for one subdomain. As in, you couldn't have mydomain.com, sub1.mydomain.com, AND sub2.mydomain.com at the same time.

Of course, if you're thinking of developing your site on a subdomain then switching to the main domain when you're done, then you can always just buy the license for the subdomain, then when you're ready kill it and re-issue it for the main domain via the partner area.
