Setting alt text for company logo

I have setup a company logo image in my template instead of the text logo and slogan. First, is it possible to set the alt text for the logo image in my template?

Second, would it be possible to change the alt text on a per page bases, for SEO purposes?

Good question Scott, i never thought about that either. I guess Soholaunch techs would be able to add this option, but to be honest, im not sure if its a nice solution... alt text on a logo? I would recommend using the page properties section for each page to optimize for search engines and forget about the logo alt text. you can however set alt text on all other images in your template/ website.

You can simply place your logo image with alt text in place of the #LOGO# tag. To have variations on the alt text, you can easily create a custom include script to achieve that as well.

However, I agree with Ruben. Page Properties are the place to go for SEO considerations.
