Hi,

I am building a one page content with sales copy. I have gone into paypal, copied the html for the paypal "pay" buttons and inserted in edit text box (after clicking html button) , which seems to be showing o.k after I save it. However if i try and view my website via a normal browser all of the text has gone.

When I go back into my edit pages all of the text and paypal buttone are still there ? this has happened twice now.

Any suggestions, as this is all new to me !

Thanks

Can you post a link to the page? There's a chance I can figure out what's going on by viewing the html source.

BTW: Any particular reason you're copy-pasting paypal's html button code instead of just linking to the shopping cart which has built-in paypal payment support?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I have been trying to add a paypal button to a single sales page selling just one product (not multiple products), which is a downloadable e-book. If there is an easier way of inserting the paypal button etc, could you explain.

Thanks

Don't think so. Of course, I can't be entirely sure about how exactly you're trying to insert it until I can see this page your talking about for myself. Are you still having trouble getting the code to work? If so, can you post the URL?

Which page are you trying to paste the paypal code on?

Also: You may want to go grab the latest version of that Mountains Main template you're using. Get it here...

I'm trying to paste paypal code onto my homepage. What i'm trying to achieve is one long scrolling page with two separate "buy now" buttons, towards the end of the copy under the "order now Click Below for immediate download" blue sections.

Looking at the website via a browser today, a buy now button has now appeared right at the bottom of the site, but when you click through it dosn't show correctly. In fairness thats probably because i've been messing around with this now for a few weeks !!

Thanks for the the new template info, I will check out.

I too have this problem..and I cant make out from this thread how it was resolved or if it just corrected irself! I had paypal buttons on my site for years then suddelnly they vanished and now I cant get them to display! As I basically have my site to sell stuff it rather renders the site useless!

Hi Natasha,

Have you already updated your site to the latest build (v4.9 r39)? If you have, please send me a private message here on the forums with your FTP and /sohoadmin log-in information, as well as the name of the page on your website where the paypal buttons were placed.
