Code disappears

[HotAvon]

I'm having problems inserting code.

I have gone into html
I paste the code
Edit - there's nothing there!
Go back to html - the code has been deleted as well.

Earlier I had placed the code, but it was for one of my other urls so I had to delete it. I retrieved the correct code went back to add it and it just won't take.

I went back and recopied the code to make sure it was correct.

I use AOL and switched to Yahoo - still didn't work.
I tried from a different computer - still no luck.

The code was from WebRing:

Paste your code in Notepad and then save it as a .inc file.... Upload it to your site and drop on the page where you want it from your custom code in the page editor...That should do it..

Or you can paste the html with the advanced editor and be sure to wrap it with <br></br>
