New Product Won't Save

Now Im having more buggy errors. The other day no stats, now I cant save a new product. Soon as I hit save, it acts as tho it is saving, and then goes right back in to the first product screen instead of refreshing and clearing all the fields like it use to to add another product etc. Why is it doing this?

When I exit by hitting main menu or shopping cart menu, it appears to be there, and actually does appear in the store, but in the adding its not going back to the screen to add another product.

Also, I couldnt sign in to run a support ticket, and says im not a registered user!

After looking at this I realized that it's intentional. As in, we changed it in a recent build to go back to editing the sku you just added instead of going to a fresh add sku form. I could go either way on how this should work. What do you think? Did you like it better the other way?

Hi Mike,

The old method is probably better, I already have one customer questioning the change as it now takes them longer to add products group of products. It's a relatively minor annoyance to them but an annoyance nonetheless.

The argument I would put forward would is that with adding products you shouldn't really need to edit immediately after adding it unless you made a mistake. In which case the search products tool is sufficient to find and correct mistakes.

Im glad you're convinced, I was going insane! I didnt know that had changed so i kept hitting save, save, save, and was like OKIES..

I think it should go back that way u can keep on adding without having to exit or retype over everything again. Asking for errors if you miss deleting something from the first product.
