Losing links and images

Hi
Hope someone has an answer for me. I've had this problem twice now.

Seems Soho "resolves" and then I lose my hyperlinks and images on my web pages. The pages are fine until the "resolve" thing occurs. Does the "resolve" occur frequently? Don't understand this part.

using v4.9 r31

Thoughts anyone?

Hi,

I have a question about when your losing them? as soon as your putting them(images on the page) and linking(http:address) and then clicking save ..Is this where their not saiving?
Or when your adding a link to the picture it wont let you save it or erases the the link and pic too..4.9 r40+

if so i could help ya as to why they are not saving..I learned through trial and error..of course:lmao:

Thanks for responding.

The program seems to save links,etc. fine and will be that way for weeks.

Suddenly, the links and images disappear. Do you think I have a bug?I'm going to update to a new version today and see it that makes a difference.

Hi,

I got the following messages a couple of days ago and then the "losing" began. I've reconnect links and images, but I also noted that in editing the top bar of say a text editor block doesn't have the yellow and black message "move...". It's blank. I have to open editor save block verbiage, etc. copy, delete box, add new editor, past verbiage and then it's fine. What a hassle!

Cant resolve www.connievanberkel.com to this server. Temporarily Changing this domain name to connievanberkel.com in config file.
When www.connievanberkel.com starts resolving to this server, the config file will automaticly be changed back.
www.connievanberkel.com is now resolving!
changing domain to www.connievanberkel.com in the config file, and updating all domain paths for all site content.

Not sure what the message means anyway. Completed an upgrade onsite and in fantastico. Situation only got worse. Takes a couple of hours to fix.

:uh: well i dont think you had to upgrade fantisco, just on the soho c-panel-webmaster-check for updates. what version are you seeing now? 4.9 r43(stable)

as for the rsolving issue..soundslike a normal server updateing change. I f your still have problems with the links and images dissapearing again try to check your page title? make sure theres no & symbol or any symbol like that in it(on create page title). if there is comming from old version of soho to the new it wont except the change and stuff will go missing. last scenario..recreate a new page that your having the problem with and see if it happens again. i did use one of those symbols and i lost entire page when updating.:hmm:
