hi,
I was editing my kama sutra page 2 (http://www.temptationsent.com/index.php?pr=Kama_Sutra_2) , i took the text editor box and draged it into a frame. All was fine, i placed one of my affiliates text links into the text editor page. I then grabbed the shopping cart to add a search bar and :uh: ! I LOST EVRYTHING ON THE EDIT PAGE Except for the top three frames on the page, All other frames to drag and drop stuff was gone. So i then double clicked on the the text editor page(1 of ony 3 frames left) i made and i chose advanced. It opened all right, it had my shopping cart and search bar inside the page( i mean everyitem i have):uh: . So i explored around the page, it let me into main template with all kind of editing stuff to edit the shopping cart, shopping cart picture, banner, color, grid views, outline box commands..just some of the stuff that i didnt reconize at all? The page wouldnt let me cancel out by main menu button:wtf: Tried logging out and back...Didnt work?.. i went and viewed the page in website just for kicks now(nothing i could do:ghasp: ?). T he page itemes were about (800 normal)6,000 to the right and about the same down in length?(my page pre-800 x 1800) I had to redo the page all over again..lucky not to many items 2nd page.

any clues?

Your Vodahost affliate links are all messed up on your pages. I think the problem is that you paste the code onto Text Editor, which is a bad idea because Text Editor does modify codes.

This may be the cause of the problems you experieneced.

It is much better by copy and paste your afflicate links code onto Notepad and save it as an .inc file like affliate.inc. Upload this file in Sohoadmin and you can then drag and drop the Custom Code onto your page. In doing so, Soho will not modify the code and your afflicate links will work correctly.

:uh: , Hi,

and thanks for replying. My voday host telles me to copy and paste thread to website.. But im interested to know about what your talking about. if i upload the httP: SCRIPT IN INI.FILE format( which i have them in .tx file now). How do i attach the script to the banner? this is something new for me to learn.

When saving file in Notepad, click on "Files of type" and select "All Files". You can then specify the file extension in "File name" as "affiliate.inc".
