Report Writer/Creator for Shopping Cart

I would like to have a Report Writer for the Shopping Cart where I can create reports of sales by customer, by product, by category, by month, year, etc.

This would be very helpful to me as I also consult with my customers on their Marketing decisions.

If I can't get a Report Writer where I can create reports on the fly, then just the capability to generate some pre-specified reports would be most helpful.

If we couldn't choose our own custom time periods, then to simply have it by months and choose the beginning and ending month....

I would love to have this, then I could download it to spreadsheet and do further work on it.

I also envision a similar report where the rows would be categories instead of the specific products....
