Graphic duplicating on news box

I made a simple template that has a news box vertically down the left hand side of the page. Above the box is a graphic. For some reason the graphic duplicates itself so it shows up twice before the news does.

The way I designed it, there is a slice for the graphic and a slice for the #BOX1# code.

Any ideas?

I have decided to give up on the idea of having a nice graphic above my News box. So that brings me to my next question. When I put in css a line for .box-title1 it formats the blog title not the box title (what is returned for the #BOX-TITLE1# command). The blog title is the title you assign in blog manager. The box title you assign in template manager. My question is how do I format the box title in css to make it stand out from the blog title and the blog.
