Interactive Blog

The current blog module looks like posts can only be made through the admin. Does anyone know if a site visitor can post to the blog on the site itself?

I agree that it seems blogs can only be one way. I am extremely interested in the capabilities of an interactive blog or community forum plug in. If anybody could design one it would be great!
