More postage options

A lot of my Australian customers like to have their orders sent via Express post or Registered/Insured mail. I have shipping set as a per order cost and it would be great if they could be given the options to choose to add (for example) Express or Registered Post.

I am Australian Based Business I use soholaunch to run my clients websites and I have been asking soho since october 2006 for some options here and some guided help, as yet I have had very lil help.

I really dout soholaunch has the resources or interest to make any major changes or addons to there shipping calculator as I see them posting request them selves for such addons.

I think soho is missing out on a massive market due to the amount of people looking for user friendly website builder with a shopping cart built in. Due to ebay fees doubling last year I no longer run my ebay pet store as it became to costly. I would love to setup and run my online pet store via soho but due to the lack of shipping options this is also not viable.

There are many options for shipping in australia and I would like the ability to be able to offer regular shipping, Express Shipping and Registered Shipping. As a choice for my customers.

I was very surprised after I installed Soho as to what few shipping options it has & for that matter how few plug-ins with shipping options there are. My jewellery store charges by item - which I wouldn't have thought was unusual for lots of proudcts - plus zones. I had a program custom built for me. At least with Soho this is an easy option. Soho sophisticated cart turns out to be a lot less sophisticated than I was expecting.

Hi all I have a new shipping plugin built for soho and it is avaiable at http://addons.soholaunch.com/plugins/shipping/wght_shipping

This plugin works by weight and you can set your own rate for each weight range and it also offers the extra option of offering two diff shipping methods eg. regular and express.

This is great for Australian based websites and anyone needing a weight based shipping plugin.
