I like going in to see where people have come from to get to my site, and it says in the Stats. to get rid of or emply the log every so often, but there is no delete or clear button in the site, so where can I do that when the time comes.
Thanks emerald-fairy Lynn

You do that in your PHP Database...Look for
STATS_BROWSER
STATS_BYDAY
STATS_BYHOUR
STATS_REFER
STATS_TOP25
STATS_UNIQUE

Thanks for the reply, I am new at all this. where so I find that PHP data base and it is easy to do?. I don't want to wipe out the whole thing and that c panel scares me!! not too sure how to drive it, so any advice would be appreciated
Does it give you an option like click on and empty?
Thanks again

You access it through phpMyAdmin..

You can go to sohoadmin > database tables > system tables. For each of the table Snipe mentioned, click on "empty".

Oh yeah...Thanks Lwyau..
I'm a bit out of it today....I loosened a tooth about 8 months ago and I had it removed yesterday and a implant tooth put it.....Long story short...4 hours in the chair drilled into the bone behind my sinuses for a insert, 12 stitches later and all the vicodin the Doc could give me....plus no sleep last night..

I wish there was a way to just save the totals for history for these stats, and not delete it all.....
Cameron Allen told me awhile back that I was a long way from needing to empty the stats files........... but I have noticed some of these pages taking longer to load lately.

What I do is to download .csv files and archive them in a spreadsheet then empty the tables on an annual basis. This works fine for me even with very high traffic sites.

Yes, I knew I could do that, but what I am wishing for is a "Nice to Have" - where SohoLaunch would automatically collapse the underlying data at some point for historical periods, so that when you scroll down the Main Stats page, the summary for each month would still be there for comparison purposes, but since the underlying data was not available to click on, it would load faster.....................
