Hey folks,

Just wondering how I can add options (eh News, Calendar, Shopping cart etc) to a site after installation?

I'm sure it's basic, just wondering how this can be done and couldn't see the answer here.

Secondly, if I have a domain where Fantastico was installed and I then remove it with Fantastico and reinstall, I lose all my webpages right? This being because they are stored in a database file user_sope1 which is destroyed when I remove SohoLaunch Pro?

Need to know these things so I can automate installation and tweak it after install.

Thanks heaps,

Brian

Just to clarify, I know it can't be done through the Admin side. I'm looking for a file or table I can change to achieve the same end. I understand that the intention is to provide an admin interface for this at some point in the future.

You know I have always assumed that you could just go into the partner login and turn that on but having never installed a site without all the options I'll leave that to someone else.

Not if you save the database through PHpMyadmin first. You can also save the pages you created. We have been able to recreate the same site over and over again by saving the necessary files and the database. We saved the modified template, the database and I think the files in tmp_content folder. Haven't done it in awhile so I am not sure of all the files but it is most definitely possible to even set up totally product populated sites. Done it many times. Using a macro tool you can completely automate it too.
