We MUST optimize this and other sites for Basic SEO see the <title> is non existent and the META tags (and title) need to be within the <head> tags. Can you give me a fix for this? We are selling more and more Soholaunch systems and with our growing SEO business we must have soholaunch SEO compatible. We are also waiting for you all to address the fact that each soholaunch webpage needs to have individual Meta Keyword and Description as well as Title.

Thanks for a great product and excellent support!

4.7 has new meta tags. If you go into page properties while editing a page you can fully use these meta tags. S.E.O. optimization with custom meta tags for each page. Static html pages generated in the document root for each site page now include complete copy of page content, keywords, title, and description, as well as site-wide meta data. You can now have page-specific <title>, <met description>, and <meta keywords>.

Hi,

We uploaded the 4.7 files and do not see the meta tags, etc. What is the proper way to upgrade from 4.6 to 4.7 in this regard? Do I need to delete any files for it to upgrade?

The recomended way to upgrade to 4.7 is to upload the .tgz file to your docroot, and extract the file. I have found alot of servers don't write files correctly or, improperly when you upload alot of files at once via ftp. The best way to double check whether installation was done is by looking at the automenu. The automenu is sortable on 4.7.

We uploaded the 4.7 tar and extracted the FULL version after Deleting the OLD version 4.6. We do not see the new version , the Auto menu is NOT sortable and we do not see the Meta Description AND Keyword boxes wither.

What up? :)

to upload through SSH, first upload the tar file. To extract it you need to bring up the command prompt and go to the folder you extracted it to. for example if it where in the /home/public_html folder you would type: cd home/public_html . Once you are in the folder use the command: tar -xzvf soholaunchpro-040918.tgz or what ever the name of the version you are extracting is. After this extracts go a directory above to the docrrot and type: chmod -R a+rw foldername . This sets permissions to 777.
