The Welcome email

Hey guys, is there any way to customize the automatic welcome email? The stock email text that comes with the Member Registration plugin doesn't identify who the email is from.

Ok, the last question is no big deal.

but here's what i don't get. Once someone logs into my web site they have to keep loggin into all of the other member pages. In other words its not just "one log in logs in all" its each page has to be logged into

Am I doing this wrong? Please help!:(
