Menu buttons for external links

When I install the Red,white and chrome template it will not show the menu buttons for my external links. If I use a different template they will show, in other words, curvacious mark (any color) shows all links both internal and external but red whote and chrome do not. Any clue?

It is because this template uses a customized version of the auto-menu module which does not include the external link feature (being relatively new).
