as i look around the plug ins and wonder if one is good for my needs - i ask the following:
is there a way for the plug in to contain a trial period to see if it does what it says (works for me)?
the plug in info and screenshots are.... well slim. the screen shots don't go to full size. there is very little documentation. i was lookng at something today that i thought was interesting and the developer's website was "server not found"
for those of us who don't write code it's a leap of faith. granted 30 dollars is not a big deal but it adds up.
for me, the longer i spend on the forum, the more i recognize the names of the people who know what they are doing. if i see they have writen it i know that the product should be pretty good and supported if i need help.
anyway - that's my thought about plug ins.

Its a great idea, but i think soholaunch will not go for this. Thats why i have created for all ViaStep plugins video manuals, so you can see how each plugin works.

Also, I just wanted to add that the plug-ins available on the addons site besides being written by previously approved developers, they have been thoroughly tested by Soholaunch techs BEFORE they are posted to the addons site.
It's not as if just anyone can just throw something up there for sale....

I just paid for 3 different plugins, non of them working as discribed. So i guess i am out $65.00 just to try them. If there was a trial period i could of at least found out they did`nt work.I have been trying to get help here and from the makers of the plugins but no help yet, except that they should work.

Floating Menu,Search Engine Friendly Page Names,Shopping Cart Catalogue Search Engine Optimizer.
I am the author of both Search Engine Friendly Page Names and Shopping Cart Catalogue Search Engine Optimizer.
I took a look at your site www.dresswelloutdoors.com. As far as I can tell, Shopping Cart Catalogue Search Engine Optimizer plug-in works as described, but Search Engine Friendly Page Names does not
It does appear, though, you have a customized template which most likely uses a customized pgm-auto_menu.php in the template folder. If this is the case, Search Engine Friendly Page Names won't work as stipulated in the plug-in description itself. Come to think of it, it can be interference from Floating Menu since it will have to operate in the same pgm-auto_menu.php module.
Also, all my plug-in descriptions include a link for support. I don't believe I have received any support inquiries from you as yet...
I am using the Shopping Cart Catalogue Search Engine Optimizer plug-in with blue mountain man template and it is working fantastic. If you type in 2008 native american art calendar in google or yahoo my website comes on the first or second page southwesindianarts.net. that is awesome. thanks lwyau
