4.7 licensing issue

I just downloaded the newest build of 4.7 RC3 from 9/10, and the licensing does not work right. I used the server license option, but once it finishes installing it says domain licensed successfully, yet when you login, it says:

The license key installed is not authorized for this domain name [domain.com].


Please purchase and/or genereate a license.


Even though I already generated the license and it is reflected in the partner area.

I tried it with both the domain and feature licensing checkbox on and off. Creating the license before or during installation does not work.

GO into your partner area, and double check the license. Make sure the type of license is correct. After you do this, go into your /sohoadmin folder and delete your soholaunch.lic file. Then everything should work!

okay, i got it to work when you generate the license from the partner area. however, if you use the option:


Domain and Feature Licensing:
Configure feature settings and generate a server, leased, or lifetime license for this domain. This is not necessary if you have already generated a license through the Soholaunch Partner Area.


and try to generate the license from there without first doing it in the partner area, I get that error.

thought you should know.

FYI - I used the server license to generate the license during install.

This problem occurs when you reinstall a domain that is already licensened, and install a server edition on that domain, you do need to delete the soholaunch.lic file. This should not be an issue on the final release.
