Dear Santa,

We have two stores that are now offering the ever popular "Reloadable Gift Card" like many of the major department stores offer (Target/Walmart/Home Depot, etc). Everyone we have sold to wants to be able to use these online.

Here is my wish...
I need a way for a customer to select "Gift Card" with the a area to input the "Card Number" and the "Amount" the card is good for upon check out. If they select this option and fill in the necessary info the credit card would then automatically be processed "Manually" showing the credit and billing only the difference. Then, when we get the invoice, we can verify that the amount they thought was on the card is correct by verifying it with our system. If everything is A-Okay then we go ahead and charge the card. If not, we give them a call and work it out.

I don't know how many other people are interested in this type of plug in, but I can tell you that the Gift Card option has been growing by about 15% per year. Just take a look at any retail store you walk into. I believe if this is done right and done well, the future is bright for this plug in.

Thanks for giving it a look!

Thanks for the reply. :hmm: I will check it out, but is this using a paypal gift certificate or your own in-house system? We have an in-house system for our retail operation.
Also, we use paypal along with the option to use an online payment gateway so I would still need a way to offer the gift certificate to customers who do not want to use paypal (about 50% don't use it).

I agree on the template. I haven't made the transition yet, still working it, but what a great program and great guy.

I have a few other web sites that I will want to use it or the smooth waters (i think it is called) template. Not sure what the differences are yet.

Thanks again for the reply. Let me know your thoughts.
