Changing templates -- will I loose it all?

I want to change my template from a "free" soho template to one that I can buy from soholaunch. If I buy the new template and upload it, will I loose all of the information that I have already built on the website? Should I save all of the info in Microsoft word and then cut and paste to new website?

Uploading a new templet will do nothing more than that.
You will have to change it to the new templet if you want.
It just addes the option to another templet.

A template is just a wrapper to all of your content. The reason why we use templates is so that the look and feel is separate from the content and can be changed at any time.
