FOOD6-extras-yellow templet

I have tried to use this templet FOOD6-extras-yellow.
On the home page there is an option to not use the blog or pic.
I have tried to remove this using the options provided.
It just wont remove or save my choises.(not to use it).
Any advice or am i missing something?
It works great on the other pages.

Remove the "home.html" file from the template folder will make Home Page default to the template for all other pages.
