Date on Phase 2 Clean Industry Blue

I recently installed the Clean Industry Blue template and I can't figure out how to get rid of the December 1969 date that appears. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

The appearance of "December 1969" indicates that you have not provided the content for a template box.

First go to sohoadmin > template manager and click on "template boxes" on the right pane. You can then associate a blog subject to a template box. Once you've done that, go to blog manager and add an entry in that blog subject. The content of this entry will show up in place of "December 1969".

Is there a way to change the blog entry (post) date? Like in wordpress and blogger?

You can go to sohoadmin > database tables > system tables. Open/edit blog_content table. Search for the entry and change the date there.
