can someone tell how to use this with a pic on my site that links to a diffrent site

First you have to create a "linkid" via sohoadmin > click here to show plugin features > click counter. Let's say you assign a linkid of "myfirstlink".

You then go to page editor and fire up text editor. Insert your image. Select the image and click on the "link" icon on the top row. Click counter works on page link only. So first select the page you want to link to. Say the page name is "linkpage". As soon as you select this page, the field "URL link" will be filled in with http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?pr=linkpage
Put your cursor at the end of this line and make it to:
http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?pr=linkpage&linkid=myfirstlink
Save everything all the way to save the page and the clicks on the image will be counted.
