Dynamic Calendar?

Hi,

My company is doing work for the YMCA and they wanted to know if it would be possible to set up a SOHO calendar so that one of their members could go in and select from different criteria (age, interests, etc.) and then the calendar that appears on their screen would only list events that suit their pre-selected criteria.

I know that with SOHO it is possible to create different calendars for different audiences, but to my knowledge, there is no functionality to generate dynamic calendars by drawing upon a common database.

Any ideas?

Joe Lain of the SOHO Support Team thought it was an interesting idea but said it was not currently possible (although he said hypothetically if you had a table with all the calendar events and information, you could create a table search that you could place on a page for users to search through).

This wasn't quite what i was looking for so he suggested tapping into the talented SOHO developer community to see if anyone out there is interested in tackling such a challenge.

I think it would be a highly desirable plug-in.
