unwanted text link

I am using the Outdoors2 free template. There is some text ("December-31-1969 Read More....") on the left side of every page. This text is a link back to my HOME page. I think this was part of the original template but I don't want it. Is there a way to get rid of this?

Go to your templet manager>Template Features>Template Boxes>
You can disable it there.
