Other script installs

How do i/or the best way to install a script,Private script.
On my cpannel.Not soho.

Do you mean within cPanel, or on your site?

This is a php script with its own admin area,
Nothing to do with the soho site except sharing the
c pannel.
Would i need to put this in a subdomain?

Not necessarily - you should be able to just create a directory, and stick it in there.

I did that but not sure how to open it.
Went to the directory and just got files.

Er.... not following you when you say you don't know how to open it. To answer specific questions, I'd really need to know how you're installing it and what you're installing.

other than soholaunch on the same c pannel.
Once installed,how do i get it to open to the admin page of that script.
I not even sure this could be done with soho in the c pannel.
I have tried to open the files from the directory but they just want to download to my pc.
