Adding Adsense code

Whenever I try to add Google Adsense code, everytime I preview the page it seems to add another block of code.

I add the code using custom code and uploading an html file with the code.

I also added the code from google indicating that it will be framed (from what I see, soho seems to modify this code to work within the system and I think messes things up.

Any ideas... Anyone add Adsense code successfully?

I'm adding the code to the homepage.

I insert the Adsense code into an html file. > Then I upload that file to soho. > Then I go in to edit my homepage and drag custom code into one of the boxes where I want my Adsense to show. I select the html file with the Adsense code.

All seems ok when I do a first preview of the webpage. Then when I go to tweak other things on the page and then preview it once again, It seems to double up on the adsense code. (I see two block of adsense now.)

Any ideas?

I think I figured it out... read some other threads on here.

I renamed the html file I uploaded with the Adsense code to .inc
and now it seems to work fine!

Good to know. Having never used adsense I had thought you could just add it to the main template file. Will store that one away for future reference
