Hi and thanks in advance.
I added Soho through the Fantasico on my hosting account.
Now I have found out they do not support it, in fact today talking to them
they have removed it from the optional installs!

I have been 2 weeks on getting a site up and now they ask me to uninstall it and use something else.
Can I uninstall without it being on the list?
Also is there a way I can download the full version and if so where? Is that a trial version that needs to be liscensed at the $99 dollars?

Thanks

Sorry to hear about your hosting dillema.
You can remove it manually by using your ftp manager or file manager in c-panel if thats what you have.

The main directory to remove is sohoadmin then there will be a stack of files in the html root, oh and also some folders like template etc which also need deleting.

From memory fantastico produces a file list of files it installs wither in the base or sohoadmin look at that for a file list.

Hope that helps.

PS Yes you will need to stump up some $$ for a licence if your host doesnt include it.

But if your host does not support it, I would look for a host who does, and puts newer versions online. and gives you the basic support. (This forum is offcourse the best option for support)

Search is your friend.
Goodluck.

Thanks Catalyst-X for your help. Yes I will need to remove it for now
I really like the program or at least the basic I had, I'm sure the advanced features are just as good if not better.
