Hi

We have set up a website that uses the shopping cart plug in.

Everything works fine except that it takes between 30 to 45 seconds to add an item to the cart. (this is on a 512 broadband connection). Everything else works fine and is quick (viewing pages etc).

Any ideas why adding items to the cart is slow. You can see it in action at www.bluefun.co.uk

I don't know why its slow to add products, but showing these products is no problem and they show up within 3 seconds or less.

maybe you should check your php/mysql configuration

maybe the memory settings? im not sure, but let some tech guys see if they can optimize your database. what if you save the pages? does that also take a while?
