midphase has an excellent tech support - a ticket system - estimated time of reply by a human ==> between 15 and 45 , no not hours - minutes.
I don't work and don't get paid by/from them :-)

I would have to agree with Vstacks. Great customer service, excellent prices and you get answers to your questions very quickly. You even get a free website builder which is very quick to master. Take a look!

Thanks for the information... I think I might have been frauded by a hosting company this evening. Does anyone know anything about fasthost.com? I was stupid enough to order their services before checking out some reviews. Everything I read is negative. Placed the order at 7:00pm ET. 3 hours later, no email... no way to contact them, other than email! UGH!!!!

Maybe I could offer some details about what I am hoping to find in a web hosting company:

Multiple domains with Pop3 accounts
Soholaunch Pro
Multiple GB's storage

I thought I had found that... but now I am afraid that I have been taken to the cleaners. Luckily I can challenge the charge, if it turns out bad!

BTW, I have concidered Vodahost.com, but didn't know if they could provide what I am needed in the hosting requirements.

I find it laughable that people always look at the riduculously large amounts of diskspace & data transfer being offered by web hosting companies for such low prices & think that they are getting a good deal.

They never even bother to think if they are ever going to use the resources on offer (most sites use less than 100 mb disk space & less than 1 gigabyte data transfer).

If customers really were using the amount of disk space & data transfer being offered, then the web hosting company could fit less than 10 accounts on the server. It costs a lot more than $79.95 per month to run a web server.

If people want a reliable web hosting service then they should consider purchasing from a company that offers realistic allowances at realistic prices!

I have to revise my comments on fasthost.com. Although I am not completely satisfied, I must say they have helped me... though it isn't really fast service. That being said... I thought when a company promoted Soholaunch, they offered the full package. What I have found, though, is that the basic install leaves out the best tools of the admin panel! Now, I have to pay $100 for each of my 4 (and growing) domains...

anyone have a recommendation for economizing the expense????

I'm all about Soholaunch making their money, I just have to be careful on my expenses as I am trying to control business costs!

Soholaunch offers the upgrade to ProEdition Full (all modules) for $99 per domain when purchased one at a time. If you purchase 10 at a time they cost $45 each (or $450 for the 10 pack). If you had four sites immediately you can "bank" the remaining 6 in your Partner account and use them as you add new domains.

I just joined VodaHost a couple weeks ago. I'm completely impressed with their forum - their support - and am using both the webbuilders they offer - Blue Voda and Soho - both are great for different things.

1and1 Internet http://1and1.com offers hosting accounts for as low as $2.99/mo with domain registration as low as $5.99/yr.

I've been with them for about 3 years now and I've been pretty happy. There email support is a little slow, but you get toll-free 24/7 phone support that is excellent.

If you use Soholaunch, you'll need to set the permissions to 755 instead of 777 because of 1and1's unique configuration, but you will find that their configuration is much more secure and stable than most hosts.
