Where is the widget code placed to activate a widget?

Hi freen 03,depends what widget code you're using,if its a html file copy and paste the code to notepad,save it as an .html file,upload the file in sohoadmin-file manager then drag and drop the custom code object onto the cell and you will be able to select the file you uploaded.
