Default streaming video files

I want to stream videos on my website, but I have to compress the file a lot in order to upload it to my site. Then it is very fuzzy. Is there any way to get it clearer, better quanity but still compressed enough to upload it?

Use FTP to upload the video file to the "media" folder. It has no size restrictions.

Go to your cpanel (hosting account administrative screen, not sohoadmin) and peruse help on FTP.

What type of video file is? Where did you upload it? What is the filename? What is the url of the page the video is on?

.avi file is a bad format to use on a website -- it won't start playing until after the whole file is downloaded to the browser. If you have a large file, it takes a long time.
