Question Error when i install plugins

hello withe my first post here. well i need help if somebody know my problem, i buy 1 plugin the plugin name member_rego-2.3 and when i try to upload it i see this error

Error: Could not successfully extract zip file (member_rego-2.3.zip).

Possible causes/fixes...

1. PHP's exec() function disabled on your server - Chances are if this is the cause then you'll probably have problems with the Software Updates and Backup/Restore features as well. If that's the case, you may want to ask your web hosting company about whether "the php function called shell exec is disabled" on your server.

2. Damaged archive file - This rarely happens (#1 is usually the culprit), but you may want to check whether the .zip archive file itself is incomplete/damaged. To do this, use WinZip or similiar utility on your local PC to open up the plugin .zip file you downloaded... If the .zip opens in WinZip with no error message, and you can see all the files and folders within the .zip, then the archive is probably OK. Otherwise, if you do get an error when you try to open the plugin .zip with WinZip, then try re-downloading the plugin .zip, or contacting the plugin author if that doesn't work.
Error: Unable to detect name of extracted folder.

Hello

Have you asked your host if this is disabled on your server? Would be my first port of call. I actually dont use any plugins so have never run into the problem. Hope you get it fixed.

This is the check list:

1. PHP exec() funciton (not shell exec).
2. PHP script executing unzip command.
3. permission on sohoadmin/plugins folder.

For #1 & #2, ask your host.

For #3, go to cpanel (not sohoadmin) > file manager, and check your server error log if there is any problems writing to that folder.
