Did you try to resave the shipping prices you have setup?

I have changed the shipping options to standard shipping and back, which requires resaving the data, so yes. THe plugin isn't connecting with the shopping cart and actually won't allow me to make changes to it. Considering finding someone to help me with a PHP script.

Well until I can get this resolved or come up with another option I have been forced to set my shipping options to manual/offline, that is going to be a pain.

This would be a great feature for soho except I have numerous problems with it and have had absolutely no support from the programmer who designed it. I have tried direct emails, posted numerous times in this forum and tried contacting him through his web site and have gotten absolutely no response. If he has the guts to put something like this out there and charge for it he should have the fortitude to back it up. If I cannot get some satisfaction I will have to try and get a refund of the cost as it is useless as it is now.

Hi Kmakpres,there's not much i can do to help as i don't have the plugin but if the plugin has not worked for almost 2 week's now and you have tried every effort to contact the author(i would expect a response through his site very quick if i was having the same problem's) you should pm Jim Buckler and ask him to try to contact Mike to fix it and if he can't get a response then ask Jim for a refund.I think the base rate plugin is popular and haven't seen any other's having problem's so it could be on your end,i could be wrong also have you update to r25 yet to see if that fixes the problem,i doubt it will but you never know.

I have been tring to get a hold of mike about this for over 2 weeks also
with out no responce. There seams to be a blank file in the plugin zip file. I think thats what is giving him the problem. dresswell

Well I finally gave up on the POS Base rate plus plugin as the author isn't willing to make contact and help at least try to fix the problems.
What I ended up doing is using the AR Product Configuration plugin, which works extremely well, to make a form which requires the customer to select a method of shipping which is added to the product cost. It doesn't reflect the true shipping cost in the cart but the necessary amount is added into the product to make it work. I would recommend anyone wanting to add shipping options that are not available elsewhere in the cart to look at the AR product configuration plugin. This plugin is also great for making forms for other uses as well. If you visit my site www.giftcarepackages.com you can see it in action on the checkout page where I used it to create the message and shipping options form. Now off to see if I can trade the POS base rate plugin on something else or get my money back.
