Default Moving a soho site to a new server

I have a site that i need to move across to a new server

from Direct Admin across to CPanel

i have created a new account, migrated the public_html data and installed soho on the new account and then used the backup/restore function to grab a backup and then to restore it onto the new server

for some reason none of the pages data has been moved across and while the site loads its loading with a blank template

anyidea what ive done wrong?

Go to sohoadmin > open/edit pages and open any page. If the page editor content for the page seems intact (meaning that objects in dropzones are all there), save the page to see if appears.

If this does not work, you will need to look at sohoadmin/tmp_content directory. Each page should have a pair of files: paganema.con and pagename.regen. Make sure they are there. You may have to redo the restore.

Default Moved site to GoDaddy

All went well, except:

When I pull up the site, the template pages show, but no content. (searched forum and found this, but I already had the files in place - Thanks!)
1. Double-checked the ".php" page files in home directory and the ".con" ".regen" files in /sohoadmin/tmp_content - all there

2. Tried to go in and edit a page, blocks are there, but not content (searched forum and found "Diag" tool tip - Thanks!)
Went to Diagnostics and Fixed permissions - got "0" error and verified all directories are as they should be.

Thought I would just rebuild everything by hand as a last resort, but when I try to edit a page, I get:

Unable to save page content for () to file (/home/content/u/s/e/mynamehere/html/sohoadmin/tmp_content/Home_Page.con)!

Possible Solution:
Log in to your hosting account via FTP and change permissions on the '/sohoadmin/tmp_content' directory from '0' to '0777'.

Currently set to "755" as indicated and as "Diagnostic Fix" fixes.
-------------------------------
Errors in Help Center "Diags" under "Permissions"

Folder Permissions Owner Group Writeable Status
Root Directory (public_html) 755 u u yes Failed
/images 755 u u yes Failed
/media 755 u u yes Failed
/template 755 u u yes Failed
/tCustom 755 u u yes Failed
/sohoadmin/tmp_content 755 u u yes Failed
/sohoadmin/filebin 755 u u yes Failed
/sohoadmin/program/modules/site_templates/pages 755 u u yes Failed

Files and folders with permissions lower than 777 and a
owner and group that doesn't match (jeffriesstreet) may cause problems.
Owner must be mynamehere with 755 permissions.
Group must be mynamehere with 775 permissions.

Any ideas?

Incedentally - moved another site - content shows on pages, but is not present in the blocks when I go to edit page - again over at GoDaddy.
